DURING COVID-19
April 14, 2022
To our Valued Clients and Pets at Shamrock Animal Hospital,
We are still implementing some of the hospital procedures that we have been dealing with since the start of the Coronavirus outbreak, as well as frequently working with only limited numbers of staff. We are committed to your pet’s healthcare and their needs and are doing our best to work with the limited resources we have. This means it may take longer than usual for a doctor or technician to call you about your pet’s lab work results if they are not urgent. Similarly, messages that are left for the doctor which do not require emergency attention may take up to 24-48 hours for a response depending on our current situation.
That being said, starting on April 18th, 2022, our lobby doors will officially open and we are happily letting our clients back in, it is also no longer required to wear a mask in the building; if you prefer to wear a mask you can do so, and our staff will respectfully wear one as well. As far as medication pickups and food pickups, you will no longer have to wait in your car and call first and instead you can come in to check out. Same goes for Technician Appointments and Doctor Appointments, for technician appointments you can now wait in our lobby while your pet is in our treatment area, and Doctors Appointments will now mostly be for client’s coming in with their pet(s), with availability for curbside drop offs still. For these appointments please check in at the front desk and they will guide you towards the next steps.
